For professional installation

Colibrì is bonded and grouted with two-component reactive resin systems. Substrate moisture must not exceed 3%; grout within five days of bonding, after the adhesive has fully cured and when the gaps between the tesserae are dry. Acids and alkaline substances can adversely affect the finish on the back.

03 · Your vision for the space

Your retreat.
At its most beautiful.

Bathroom & living spaces

SICIS® glass mosaic enhances walls, floors and wet areas. As a shower wall, recess or accent at the washbasin, Seratus brings the atmosphere of a private spa into your home.

Pool & wellness

Colibrì can be used in pools. Water intensifies its metallic reflections – for striking pool designs with a professionally installed reactive resin system.

04 · Harmony in every detail

The right grout
makes the difference.

Carefully coordinated grout completes the mosaic design. The SICIS® colour recommendation for Seratus: Azzurro Polvere 310.

Litokol Starlike® EVO · Azzurro Polvere 310 complements the mosaic with colour-stable, water-resistant epoxy resin grout.

05 · Installation

Precision that
preserves beauty.

  1. Prepare the substrateEnsure the substrate is flat, load-bearing and clean. In wet areas, proper waterproofing is part of the build-up.
  2. Bond with epoxy resinFor bonding with reactive adhesive, we recommend Litokol PowerGel® Pro Max Ultra Bianco: a white two-component (2K) epoxy resin adhesive of class R2 T with an additional RM 01 P waterproofing function.
  3. Align the mosaic designThe paper side faces outwards. Bed the sheets evenly; once the adhesive has fully cured, moisten the paper, peel it off diagonally and remove the glue residue.
  4. Complete the finishFill the dry, clean joints with Starlike® EVO Azzurro Polvere 310 and clean the surface within the specified cleaning window.

Lasting beauty.

How do I clean my glass mosaic?

Use a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Then wipe with clean water and gently rub dry.

What preserves the shine?

Clean gently on a regular basis. Avoid rough sponges, abrasive cleaning agents and strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners.

What area am I ordering?

The order unit is 2 m² of nominal area. Nominal area and geometric sheet area are not the same. When planning your area, the key factors are the stated sheet dimensions, the number of whole sheets and the cutting waste. We will help you work out the quantity you need for your project.
