A shimmer with character.With character.

Azalea 2 combines iridescent Smalto glass with smooth, glossy surfaces. The tesserae are finished on both sides, and their gently rounded edges create a finely structured, lively mosaic design.

The glass tesserae are mounted on fibreglass mesh at the back. The mesh remains in the adhesive bed during installation; no mounting paper is removed from the visible face.

Azalea 2 is one of the transparent Iridium colours; an even, full-surface adhesive bed supports the glass effect.

For professional installation

Lay the transparent glass mosaic with full adhesive coverage and minimal voids in an evenly light-coloured adhesive bed. In wet areas and pools, use a reactive adhesive and epoxy resin grout. Before grouting, the adhesive must be fully cured. The gaps between the tesserae must be clean and dry.

03 · Your vision for the space

Your retreat.
At its most beautiful.

Bathroom & living spaces

Iridium Azalea 2 brings a multifaceted glass effect to walls, floors and wet areas. At the washbasin, in a shower recess or as a generous accent surface, it creates the atmosphere of a private spa.

Pool & wellness

Iridium is suitable as a glass mosaic for pools and wellness areas. Its iridescent shimmer comes to life in the water. In pools, the mesh-mounted mosaic is bonded with reactive systems and grouted with epoxy resin.

05 · Installation

Precision that
preserves beauty.

  1. Prepare the substrateEnsure the substrate is flat, load-bearing and clean. In wet areas, proper waterproofing is part of the build-up.
  2. Bond with epoxy resinFor a light-coloured reactive adhesive bed, we recommend Litokol PowerGel® Pro Max Ultra Bianco: a white two-component (2K) epoxy resin adhesive of class R2 T.
  3. Align the mosaic designSet the mesh side into the adhesive. Align the sheets and joint pattern evenly and press down with a rubber float. The mesh backing remains in the adhesive bed.

Easy to care for.
Lasting beauty.

How do I clean my glass mosaic?

Use a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Then wipe with clean water and gently rub dry.

What preserves the shine?

Clean gently on a regular basis. Avoid rough sponges, abrasive cleaning agents and strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners.

What area am I ordering?

The order unit is 2 m² of nominal area. Nominal area and geometric sheet area are not the same. When planning your area, the key factors are the stated sheet dimensions, the number of whole sheets and the cutting waste. We will help you work out the quantity you need for your project.
