The final cleaning pass turns a filled joint into a finished joint: smooth, compact and flush, with no resin haze on the tile. This is when the right match between tool and material makes all the difference.
Soft household sponges wash out epoxy joints. The open-cell Sweepex sponge picks up residues completely while leaving the grout undisturbed, with uncompromising performance right through to the final finish.

Use the sponge damp, remove excess water from the surface and replace it once it is saturated with resin.
Professional sponge made from open-cell polyurethane foam: in the second cleaning pass after the white Starlike® felt pad, it smooths the joint and removes the gel completely from the tile.
