Lustrous: SICIS® Fibers Thick mosaic with White Irid Murano Glass and Carrara marble
Lustrous is the distinctive glass-and-marble composition in the SICIS® Fibers Thick collection. White Irid Murano Glass, a white iridescent Murano glass, meets Carrara marble in polished and antique-finished versions. The sculptural arrangement combines a soft shimmer, natural veining and subtly varied surfaces in an elegant overall composition.

The white iridescent Murano glass responds to light and viewing angle with shifting reflections. Carrara marble lends the composition calm, mineral depth and a clear natural-stone character. The result is a bright, layered surface with understated extravagance.

The mosaic strips are embedded in the adhesive with the fibre mesh and carefully aligned. Owing to the textured surface, press them down particularly evenly.
For these glass mosaics, SICIS® recommends the high-quality reactive two-component epoxy grouting system from LITOKOL®: Starlike® EVO and Starlike® Pro, also available from Tiamont.
A carefully matched grout colour brings out the depth, the shine and the colour effect of this mosaic particularly beautifully.
