Mercury: SICIS® Fibers Thick mosaic in Colibrì glass and marble
Mercury from the SICIS® Fibers Thick collection combines shimmering Colibrì glass mosaic with selected marbles. The lamellar, sculptural arrangement balances the brilliance of glass with the natural veining of stone.
Reflections, veining and spatial depth
The Colibrì tesserae catch the light and create delicate, shifting reflections. Marble elements complement this effect with natural veining and mineral depth. Depending on the viewpoint, the surface appears calm, lively or contrasting.

Mercury creates distinctive accents on walls, in niches and in prestigious residential, spa and commercial settings. The combination of glass and natural stone is especially suited to schemes that place light effects, material contrast and Italian craftsmanship at the centre.

The mosaic strips are embedded in the adhesive with the fibre mesh and carefully aligned. Owing to the textured surface, press them down particularly evenly.
For these glass mosaics, SICIS® recommends the high-quality reactive two-component epoxy grouting system from LITOKOL®: Starlike® EVO and Starlike® Pro, also available from Tiamont.
A carefully matched grout colour brings out the depth, the shine and the colour effect of this mosaic particularly beautifully.
