SICIS® Murano Smalto Indaco 2 combines the clear geometry of small glass squares with Italian mosaic culture. A glass mosaic that gives your space expression – as a delicate accent or across a generous surface.

Indaco 2 features smooth, glossy Smalto glass. Finished on both sides, the tesserae have gently rounded edges, form a precise square grid and give the surface a lively appearance.
The mounting on fibreglass mesh at the back makes the sheets easier to align. The mesh remains in the adhesive bed; the glass surface is already exposed during installation.

For professional installation
Bed the mesh backing evenly in the adhesive; the fibreglass mesh remains beneath the mosaic. In pools, use reactive adhesive and grout systems. The adhesive and joints must be completely dry before grouting.

Murano Smalto Indaco 2 brings a classic glass look to walls, floors and wet areas. As a shower wall, recess or accent at the washbasin, it creates an elegant setting for your own vision of the space.
Pool & wellness
Murano Smalto is particularly well suited as a glass mosaic for pools. For the mesh-mounted mosaic, reactive adhesive bonding and epoxy resin grout provide the appropriate pool system – for an even appearance underwater.

The right grout
makes the difference.
Carefully coordinated grout completes the mosaic design. The SICIS® colour recommendation for Indaco 2: Grigio Seta 115.
Litokol Starlike® EVO Grigio Seta 115 complements the mosaic with colour-stable, water-resistant epoxy resin grout.
05 · Installation
Precision that
preserves beauty.
- Prepare the substrateEnsure the substrate is flat, load-bearing and clean. In wet areas, proper waterproofing is part of the build-up.
- Bond with epoxy resinFor a light-coloured reactive adhesive bed, we recommend Litokol PowerGel® Pro Max Ultra Bianco: a white two-component (2K) epoxy resin adhesive of class R2 T.
- Align the mosaic designSet the mesh side into the adhesive. Align the sheets and joint pattern evenly and press down with a rubber float. The mesh backing remains in the adhesive bed.
- Complete the finishFill the dry, clean joints with Starlike® EVO Grigio Seta 115 and clean the surface within the specified cleaning window.

How do I clean my glass mosaic?
Use a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Then wipe with clean water and gently rub dry.
What preserves the shine?
Clean gently on a regular basis. Avoid rough sponges, abrasive cleaning agents and strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners.
