01 · Colour
Funghi 771 in your bathroomA colour that connects your textiles.
Use Funghi as a repeated tone or as an accent against your tiles, stone and wood. Light, surrounding materials and the direction of the pile affect how the colour appears. Compare textiles in daylight and under your bathroom lighting. The same colour code helps you coordinate towels and bath rugs, although their different structures and dye batches can produce slight variations.

02 · Origin
Egyptian cottonLong fibres for a smooth, soft feel.
Double is made from 100% Egyptian Giza cotton in the Extra Long Staple fibre class. These extra-long fibres can be spun into fine, even yarns that combine softness with strength. The material feels pleasant underfoot, while the terry surface takes up moisture. Giza ELS describes the material and fibre class of this rug.
03 · Comfort
Comfort on both sidesDense terry, with a cotton reverse.
Double has a soft double-pile terry surface and a discreet border around its rectangular shape. Its uncoated cotton reverse allows it to be turned over. It has no non-slip coating. On smooth floors, use a suitable separate non-slip underlay when needed and place the rug on a dry floor. The product images show different views of one bath rug.
04 · Material
1,200 g/m²Substance in every loop.
Fabric weight states how much one square metre of the textile weighs. For Double, this is 1,200 grams per square metre; it is not the total weight of every rug. The dense cotton loops create a full, absorbent surface. Cotton retains moisture after use, so spread the rug out and allow air to reach both sides until it is completely dry.
05 · Manufacture
Made in PortugalCraftsmanship from Abyss & Habidecor.
Abyss & Habidecor manufactures its bathroom textiles in Portugal, in the Viseu region. Double combines a simple shape, careful finishing and 60 coordinated colours. The rugs are prewashed and preshrunk. Gentle care remains important for their shape and pile. Cotton is a natural material, so small differences between dye batches and between towels and rugs are normal.
06 · Sizes
Small or largeChoose the footprint that fits your space.
Both sizes have the same 1,200 g/m² cotton quality. Choose 50 × 80 cm for a compact space by a shower or washbasin, or 60 × 100 cm for more standing room by a bath or shower. Measure the free floor area and check clearance under doors before ordering. You receive one bath rug in the selected size.
07 · Care
Everyday careKeep the pile soft, full and absorbent.
After use, spread the rug out to dry and let air reach both sides. Wash at 40 °C with similar colours and follow the care label. Keep it away from hooks, zips and hook-and-loop fasteners that can catch the loops. Avoid overloading the washing machine.
Gentle detergent
Use a mild liquid detergent without bleach or optical brighteners. Avoid fabric softener so the cotton remains absorbent.
Tumble dry on medium heat
Tumble drying loosens the pile. Dry completely, then shake the rug gently before laying it out.
Trim a pulled loop
Do not pull it. Carefully cut the protruding thread at pile height.
Protect the colour
Avoid direct contact with hair dye, lightening skincare products and aggressive bathroom cleaners.
